Dress/Etiquette

The Bridges Golf and Country Club dress code is designed to ensure that all members and guests can enjoy the golf course and its facilities in a pleasant and respectful atmosphere. Members are responsible for informing their guests about the dress code and ensuring that they adhere to it. Changing attire in the parking lot is prohibited. Metal golf spikes are not allowed anywhere on the premises.


The following rules apply to dress attire for the golf course and practice facility use:


Gentlemen:  Shirts with collars (including mock collars) and golf slacks or shorts are considered appropriate attire. Shorts must be conservatively tailored and no more than 3 inches above the knee. Tank tops, T-shirts, cut-offs, sweatpants, athletic shorts, swim trunks are not permitted. Denim jeans and shorts are not permitted between May 1st – October 31st.


Ladies: Dresses, skirts, slacks, golf shorts, blouses, and golf-specific non-collar shirts are considered appropriate attire. Skirts and shorts should be conservatively tailored and no more than 5 inches above the knee. Tank tops, t-shirts, halter tops, cut-offs, sweatpants, and swimsuits are not permitted. Denim jeans and shorts are not permitted between May 1st – October 31st.
